This week has gone by super fast and actually its really just like been a blur.
I just wanna share a little experience that we had this week. We went to go teach a recent convert, named Paula. She is 11 years old and here family are all members, but were inactive. Anyway, their other daughter Nelly got in a really bad accident a while ago. She has had multiple operations on her head to relieve the pain, but this week has been really bad. We went over and asked the mom if she’d like us to give here a blessing. She told us yes, and she went upstairs to bring down her daughter. She just looked so miserable, and with such bad pain that she was going through. We proceeded to give her a blessing. I laid my hands on her head and gave her, I think, the best blessing I have ever given. The room filled with the strongest spirit and we all circled her after and let her know that we are all there for her. She won’t have her next operation for about another three weeks, and it is sad. She is in our prayers.
Being in a country like this really opens up my eyes to a lot of sad experiences, and helps me appreciate a lot more of the blessings we have in the States. I love my Savior, and I have seen his hand in the lives of so many as I have devoted myself to this work. I love all of you and am so thankful for all of the support and love you have all given to me!
