Bryant Curtis is the second son of Scott and Maryann Curtis of Queen Creek, Arizona. He is the third child. He entered the mission field on Wednesday July 10th, 2019 when he arrived at the Provo Utah Missionary Training Center. He reports to the Ecuador Quito North Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on August 19th and will be serving as a Spanish Speaking Elder.

Bryant is a car guy and was instrumental in turning a family heirloom, a 1954 Chevy pickup into a high-rise 4x4 lifting it 18” from stock. He also helped his dad replace the motor in a 2001 Ford F150 which was no small task. He is handy with tools.

His interests include hot rods, off-roading, camping, fishing, hanging out with his very special friend Kami (pictured) as well as his many friends and cousins (Jackson, Lincoln, Aaron, Brandon, Parker, Kiegan, Aubrey, Addison, and others). He has an older sister Alison (a microbiologist living in Tucson, Arizona) An older brother Chris, his wife Katelynd, and a younger brother Michael.

Bryant’s Grandpa (Nik Curtis), Dad (Scott Curtis) and brother Chris all drove this 1954 Chevy truck as a daily driver. Bryant’s 3 uncles also drove this truck - Shannon, Dean and Kelly making it the rig of 3 generations of Curtis.’ Bryant, after seeing a similar truck his Dad built when he was High Schooler decided to lift the truck and turn it into a 4x4. He put a lot of work into this truck leaving it in the driveway with his Dad scratching his head trying to figure out what to do with it now that Bryant is gone for 2 years.

In addition to everything he has had going on this year Bryant also earned his Eagle Scout rank. As part of this award Bryant had to organize a service project with the Town of Queen Creek which involved lining up lots of volunteers on a hot summer day in painting many fire hydrants throughout Queen Creek.
Bryant’s future plans after his mission include attending Arizona State University where his parents and Grandfather, Bryant Gardner and Bryant’s namesake, are all alumnus. What he will major in is yet to be determined but he is also a budding graphic design prodigy like his Father. Time will tell.
