Caballeros de Imbabura

Hey family and friends!

So this week was sooo crazy! We were in a quad from last Saturday until this Friday… Long story short, one missionary needed to go home, and that companionship just kinda got dumped on us as the Zl’s, but we managed to survive through it haha! We finally got a call on Friday morning saying that we could finally send this missionary to Quito. So, as fast as possible, we got him to the bus terminal and got him on the way back… That day we were also supposed to get another Elder to replace him. Anyway, so he was coming all the way from the jungle, which is about 14 hours traveling by bus. That missionary took so long to pack his things, that there was no time that day… So, we got to the next day, still in the trio, and still continued working in both of the areas, which was a nightmare! The cool thing though, was that we got to participate in the baptism that they had lined up for that Saturday! Its kinda funny because, yes, she is from the other area, but we had taught her more in exchanges than the missionary from that area haha! It was a pretty cool experience!!! Then, that night, we stayed in the bus terminal waiting until 11:45 at night waiting for this missionary!!!!!!!! I was so beyond tired! So, we are now finally now all back together and doing well.

On Sunday, we had stake conference, and our President came! I thought that was cool! Haha I love our President! So, a little background I am pretty sure I have a sinus infection that the mission doctors haven’t done a single thing about and I have had it for over a month and a half… The first thing President asked me was how I was doing! I thought that was cool! Anyway, he gave me a doctor’s visit after five minutes of talking to him when I have called the enfermeras 15 times… So, that made me happy!

On Monday, we did a zone-wide verification before district council in the morning. That’s basically when we have the missionaries do like fake lessons between each other so we can evaluate how their teaching is… It went well, and we learned who is doing well, and who we can help a little bit! Later in the day, we had our person on date, Inés, have her interview! She is amazing! She is ten and super smart! And, she asked me to baptize her!!! I can’t wait to get the whites back on hahah!

Besides that, that’s basically our week… Its been busy and a little tiring, but we got it all over with! Thank you for all you do and the support you’ve given me! I love all of you and hope you have a good week!
